'Idul-Fitr  is a Muslims festival which is celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic year. This month is followed by Ramazan in which Muslims fast for whole month. As soon as the moon of Shawal is sighted,  which marks arrival of    Eid-ul-Fitr (the "Festival of the Breaking of the Fast). This celebration is conducted in following ways. 1.       Distribution of alms also called  Sadaqatu'l-Fitr. In this charity is given to needy or poor people, which is almost 5 lbs of wheat, dates and fruit or  equivalent  money. 2.       After giving customary charity, all muslims gather at Idgah (place for offering prayer) in large congregations. This idgah is an open place or a flat ground which is only used for offering Eid preyers. 3.       Muslims offer two rak’ahs of prayers together.
